The CHAINFOR HCV qPCR Kit targets P gene in the HCV genome based on readout of the FAM channel. The kit also has the internal control based on the readout of the HEX channel. In addition, the kits include highly processive Hot start Taq polymerase enzyme. The CHAINFOR HCV qPCR Kit provides RT-qPCR results in less than 60 minutes.

According to clinical studies, the CHAINFOR HCV qPCR Kit has >95% analytical sensitivity at 20 copies/ml and 97% clinical sensitivity.

The CHAINFOR HCV qPCR Kit was analyzed for cross-reactivity and interference substances, and the results of the analyses showed no cross-reactivity or interference with any of the substances tested.
