Clinical performance of the kit varies for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies.
For SARS-CoV-2 IgM antibodies, RapidFor™ IgG/IgM Test Kit has demonstrated 98.23% sensitivity and 99.12% specificity with a total coincidence rate of %98.71.
For SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies RapidFor™ IgG/IgM Test Kit has demonstrated %97.97 sensitivity, and %99.37 specificity, with a total coincidence rate of %98.69.
RapidFor™ IgG/IgM Test Kit allows for safe, minimally invasive, and painless sample collection with finger puncture technique. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure maximum safety, comfort, and accuracy. Refrain from piercing your finger any further than instructed. While mild discomfort is possible during sample collection, make sure to stop the procedure and seek medical help if you experience serious pain.
Yes. If your result is positive only for IgG antibodies, which appear in the blood 2-3 weeks after the onset of symptoms and provide long-term immunity against COVID-19, it indicates a past infection with SARS-CoV-2. On the other hand, the presence of IgM antibodies reveals an early immune response against COVID-19, which indicates recent infection with SARS-CoV-2.
Please read the instructions thoroughly before starting the procedure. The procedure should be concluded within 15 minutes after the test cassette is removed from the foil package. Please make sure to recap the buffer solution quickly after each use and utilize the sample as soon as possible. The sample should be used within 30 minutes at most, inactivation of samples is not recommended.
After the process, all samples and materials should be placed in the aluminum foil and disposed of as biohazardous waste as soon as possible. Please refrain from using the recycling bin for disposal and make sure that animals and children are out of reach.
A positive result with RapidFor™ IgG/IgM Test Kit indicates previous exposure to SARS-CoV-2. You may contact your healthcare provider to get more information and medical assistance if necessary.
A negative result may indicate that your IgG antibody level may be insufficient for detection with RapidFor™ Rapid IgG/IgM Test Kit. Please keep in mind that negative results may occur in the early phases of infection because the antibodies may take a while to appear after infection or vaccination. You may consider having another test within 4-5 days to reassess your antibody levels against SARS-CoV-2.
RapidFor™ Rapid IgG/IgM Test Kit can be stored be between 2°C-30°C and within 40-60% of humidity in the sealed package until its expiration date.
